How to maintain the cast iron pillow block bearing?

(1) Use of cast iron pillow block bearing cooling system. Its advantages are to effectively prolong the life of the bearing seat, save the die-casting cycle, improve the product quality, reduce the occurrence of mold sticking, strain and aluminum sticking, and reduce the use of mold release agents. It can also reduce the loss of the ejector pin and core due to overheating of the bearing seat.

 

(2) The cast iron pillow block bearing must preheat the bearing seat during the production process to prevent the occurrence of cracks caused by the sudden encounter with the hot metal liquid in the cold cast iron pillow block bearing. The iron pillow block bearing can use a blowtorch, liquefied gas, and a mold temperature machine in good conditions. The relatively simple cast iron pillow block bearing can be preheated by slow injection.

(3) The cleaning of the parting surface of the cast iron pillow block bearing is very troublesome and easy to ignore. The operator should thoroughly clean the parting surface of the bearing seat with kerosene, which can not only prevent the bearing seat from being damaged. Squeeze injury, and after cleaning, it can open the exhaust groove blocked by the residue of mold release agent or other dirt on the cast iron pillow block bearing, which is conducive to the discharge of gas in the cavity during the injection process and improves the quality of the product.
