B. Adjustment of clearance of combined needle roller bearings In order to ensure the normal operation of the bearing, proper axial and radial play is usually reserved inside the combined bearing. The clearance has a great influence on the bearing's rotation accuracy, load, life, efficiency, noise and so on. If the clearance is too large, the rotation accuracy of the bearing will decrease and the noise will increase. If the clearance is too small, the thermal expansion of the shaft will increase the bearing load, shorten the service life and reduce the efficiency. Therefore, the clearance should be properly adjusted according to the actual working conditions when assembling the bearing assembly, and the adjustment can be conveniently made structurally.

There are three common methods to adjust clearance: (1) Gasket adjustment shows the angular contact bearing combination. Adjust the clearance by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the gasket group between the bearing cover and the bearing seat. The thermal compensation clearance of deep groove ball bearing assembly is also the adjustment of cushion sheet. (2) Screw adjustment Adjust the bearing clearance with screws and disc-shaped parts, and the nut plays a locking role. This method is convenient to adjust, but can not bear large axial force. (3) The round nut adjusts the reverse mounting structure of two tapered roller bearings, and the bearing clearance is adjusted by the round nut. But the operation is inconvenient, and the thread will weaken the strength of the shaft.

C. Influence of temperature on efficiency of combined needle roller bearings After the combination starts to run, it will heat up, and after a period of time, it will be normal at a lower temperature (usually 10~40 degrees higher than room temperature). The following main reasons can be considered when the combined bearing temperature does not reach the normal state and abnormal temperature rise occurs: 1. Too much or too little lubricating oil 2. Poor installation of bearings 3. The internal clearance of the combined bearing is too small or the load is too large. 4. Excessive friction of sealing device 5. Lubricant does not match 6.
